Red, White & Kaboom is Lakeland’s signature Independence Day event, held each year along the beautiful Frances Langford Promenade at Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland. The celebration features live music, a wide variety of food and drink vendors, family-friendly activities, and culminates in a professional fireworks display over the lake.
The event typically begins in the early evening — around 6:00 PM — with live entertainment and vendors, building up to the main fireworks show at 9:00 PM. Thousands of residents and visitors line the promenade, spread out on blankets, and fill the surrounding streets to enjoy the show.
