Pricing

Starting numbers below. Your final number depends on user count, industry complexity, and regulated data exposure. We tell you the number before you sign anything.

Project-based engagements

These are the fixed-fee project engagements, separate from ongoing MIP service.

  • AI Readiness Assessment — $10,000 flat fee. Three weeks, fixed scope, deliverable described on the Assessment page.
  • Custom Agent Sprint — $32,000 per sprint. One workflow, scoped, built, deployed, measured. Two to four weeks. Detail on the custom agents page.
  • Copilot Readiness Remediation — scoped per engagement. The SharePoint and OneDrive permission cleanup project that almost every Assessment surfaces. Most engagements are 4–8 weeks of work; we quote off the Assessment findings.
  • Compliance program build-outs (CMMC, HIPAA, SOC 2 program-level work) — scoped per engagement. Heavy lifts that include AI workstreams, designed in conjunction with your compliance lead.

What determines your final price

The starting number is per-user, per-month. Your final number reflects:

  • User count. Per-user pricing scales linearly above 10 users. Larger firms get volume tiers; we’ll quote those when you’re at scale.
  • Tier. Foundation, Operate, or Strategic. The right tier comes out of the Assessment.
  • Regulated data exposure. HIPAA, ITAR, CMMC, FERPA, FINRA, state bar — wherever applicable — adds documentation, monitoring, and review depth. We quote a defined uplift, not a vague multiplier.
  • Custom agent count per quarter. Operate includes 3 per quarter; Strategic includes substantially more. Above the included count is per-sprint pricing.
  • Number of integrated systems. Each ERP, PSA, DMS, or legacy database in scope adds engineering setup. After the first three, we quote per-system.

We give you the final number in writing before you sign. The number does not change without a written change order. Period.

What’s not in the price

Honest, so you don’t find this in a bill.

  • Microsoft Copilot or other vendor licenses. Licenses are not included. We resell at cost or pass-through your existing reseller. We do not mark licenses up.
  • Hardware. Any hardware (e.g., a dedicated GPU box for on-prem Ollama in Strategic) is quoted separately and passed through.
  • Travel. On-site work outside our service region (Northern Michigan + Central Florida) is billed at cost — flights, hotel, ground. We minimize and tell you in advance.
  • Third-party data services. OCR services, premium document parsers, vector database hosting if external — passed through with notification. Most clients don’t hit these; some do.
  • Pre-existing remediation. If the Assessment surfaces a SharePoint permission cleanup that needs 6 weeks of work, that’s quoted as a Copilot Readiness Remediation project, not absorbed into Foundation.

Minimum engagement

We’re not the right fit for businesses under 10 users. We say this here so we both save time. Under the threshold, the per-user math doesn’t work — we lose money and you don’t get the depth that justifies the fee. We are happy to refer to providers who serve smaller teams well; we are not happy to take a check that won’t produce value.

What about a one-time engagement only?

About a third of Assessment clients buy the Assessment, take the roadmap, and implement it themselves or with another vendor. We sell the Assessment as a standalone product because it stands alone. The pricing math: the Assessment fee is paid once; ongoing MIP service starts when (and if) you decide to continue.
